Tanisha Chadha

Tanisha works as Manager – Programs and Innovation at CREA where manages the Count Me In! and All Women Count! global consortiums at CREA.

Tanisha has worked in the areas of mental health, gender and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) since over 8 years, with expertise in research, SRHR trainings, communications, and curriculum development. Her experience has ranged from research to activism, as well as to on-ground work, across urban and rural areas of India. Her areas of interest include mental health, LGBTQIA and sex worker rights, comprehensive sexuality education, and youth meaningful leadership and participation.

She was the David and Lucile Packard Foundation’s Quality Innovation Challenge winner for Safe Love, 2019, advised to conceptualize the Global Youth Council: Tech For Health launched by the coalition by PMNCH, Fondation Botnar, PATH and Women Deliver to advance artificial intelligence (AI), digital and frontier technologies as a catalyst for the UHC2030 in 2019, a part of the RMNCH+A working group set up by the Ministry of Family Health and Welfare co-convened by UNFPA and the Population Council (2018-2019), on the Youth Advisory Board for the FAYA (Feminist Adolescent and Youth-led Action) investment, Children Investment Fund Foundation, 2017 and a Young Leader with Women Deliver, Batch of 2016. She holds a Masters in Psychology (Psychosocial Clinical Studies) from Ambedkar University, Delhi.

Tanisha secretly wishes she was a make-up artist and can often be found glued to adult coloring books.
